And once your kids are old enough to write you could keep it on a desk for everyone to reach and be able to add things to! It could become a fun piece of decor to display within your home.
My husband and I are currently doing this for each other! We have a big fish bowl that we're filling with some of our favorite moments and days from 2013. On New Years Eve we'll spend part of the night opening up all the notes that are in there and re-living those moments with each other as we look forward to the next year!
